Enhanced UX with
home screen redesign

My team and I invested considerable effort in redesigning the home screen, transaction history, and app navigation, guided by user feedback collected
from usability tests, app store reviews, and CSAT surveys.

As a result, we successfully increased the adoption of added bank services
and achieveda notable app penetration growth of +11.5%, thanks to collaborative efforts with other teams.

and mid-sized businesses.

Challenges

  1. For 40% of entrepreneurs with more than two accounts, the horizontal scroll proved less user-friendly, and some users were unaware that they could click on the account to access the statement.

  2. There are two transaction histories that duplicate each other, leading to customer confusion.

  3. The architecture of B2B and B2C mobile apps differs, which could confuse cross-platform customers.

  1. Additionally, with this redesign, my goal was to increase penetration by adding new products, promoting additional deposit accounts, and implementing accounts for automatically saving money for tax payments.

Solutions

List accounts instead
of horizontal scrolling

Customers were unaware that they could click on the account
to access the statement.

We intended to introduce new products like deposit and savings accounts for taxes, making it more difficult with scrolling.

Raiffeisen Bank also has a mobile application for B2C customers, so my goal was to create a similar appearance and architecture for both apps.

Consolidating two duplicated transaction histories into one

Customers were misled by duplicated transaction histories,
so I consolidated them into a single section named 'History'.

Enhancing engagement with bank services

Our primary objective was to enhance user engagement with diverse bank services like bookkeeping, cards, accounts, risk navigator, and more. To accomplish this, I prominently showcased them on the home screen, aligning with the layout in the B2C mobile app.

As a result, we boosted the adoption of added bank services.

Notification for signing
multiple payments

Business owners frequently requested a feature allowing them to sign and pay multiple transactions, often initiated by accountants.

In anticipation of this need, I included this information on the home screen along with push notifications. If there are no payments requiring signature, this message disappears.

Result

As a result we boosted penetration in added bank services and acheiving increased app penetration of +11,5% in collaboration with other teams.
